Race Day Headquarters
Race Day Headquarters will be in Alexandra Park which is directly across the streett from Camp Alexandra. Look for the big tents.
Race Package Pick Up
Sunday 4:00-8:00 PM at Race Headquarters across from Camp Alexandra on Sullivan Street in Crescent Beach.
Take the opportunity to pick up your race package, get numbered and drop your bike in transition on Sunday afternoon 4:00-8:00 PM.
SWIM
Wet suits are allowed. Start and finish at the foot of Sullivan Street. The swim is out and back along the length of the North beach. There should be minimal tidal current and water temperatures will be approximately 64-67 degrees F. There will be a one hour swim time limit. Swimmers will start in waves which are appropriate for the times submitted on the entry form. Length of swim - approximately 1.5km.

TRIATHLON AND DUATHLON CYCLE (please see map pages) The course starts and finishes at the foot of Sullivan Street and makes a double loop through the south of Surrey. The road surfaces are smooth and well paved. The terrain is hilly, recommended gearing of 13-21 free wheel. Length approx. 40km. No drafting allowed. ANSI approved helmets are mandatory. Cycles must meet BABC racing standards.

TRIATHLON AND DUATHLON RUN COURSES
The run course for the Triathlon is a standard 10Km distance and the same course is modified for the Duathlon for an 8Km length which is run twice.

TRIATHLON COURSE:
Triathlon participants will exit the transition zone the same as they have in years past by running out O’hara Lane. BUT! This time you will run all the way out the lane to Maple Street then up on to the promenade. You will then do two complete loops of the Crescent Beach area including using the new trails in Blackie Spit, past the gardens, across Beecher Street and back to the promenade.

DUATHLON COURSE:
Duathlon Participants will exit and enter the transition zone for each run via the gate nearest the lifeguard stand. They will then do two complete loops of the Crescent Beach area including using the new trails in Blackie Spit, past the gardens, across Beecher Street and and back to the promenade.

MEDICAL
First aid posts are situated along the routes with ambulance, doctors and medical tent at the transition area. All courses will be monitored.
AID STATIONS
Located along both the cycle and run routes.
POST RACE PARTY AND AWARDS
Post Race party and awards will be at Alexandra Park - Watch for the Big Tents - Includes lunch, draw prizes and awards.
PRE-RACE PACKAGE PICK UP: TRIATHLON AND DUATHLON
Sunday 4:00-8:00 PM Take the opportunity to pick up your race package, get numbered and drop your bike in transition.
Monday 6:30-7:00 AM.
If you do not have your race packet by 7:00am Monday morning you do not race!!
BIKE DROP
Because of the popularity of the bike drop on the night before the race last year, the society will again set up the transition zone on Sunday and supply overnight security. You may leave your bike in the transition after you pick up your competitor's package.
AGE LIMIT
Individual participants must be 18 or older and relay participants must be 14 or older as of December 31, 2007.
AGE CATEGORIES: INDIVIDUALS
Under 19, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
TRIATHLON
Relays are three members per team, each member to complete one leg of the event. There will be three divisions, Women's Open, Men's Open, Mixed Open, Fire, Police, and Military with age categories broken down as follows: Under 100, 100-150 and 151+. The total age of all three competitors as of the race day will be added together to designate the age group category in which they will compete.
Each member of a relay team must fill out a separate registration form. Please submit all forms at the same time with payment information.
AWARDS
Awards will be distributed to the top three finishers in each category. All entrants and volunteers will be eligible for draw prizes. You can also register in person at:
